PDFPivot
Privacy Policy
Local Processing
PDFPivot is designed as a local-first application. File rendering, text recognition, editing, conversion, and export operations are performed on your device. This means:
- Your PDF documents and eBooks stay on your device.
- Highlights, annotations, and bookmarks are saved locally.
- No telemetry regarding the contents of your documents is collected.
Device Files And Storage Access
With your permission, PDFPivot can scan shared device storage to find compatible PDF, eBook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files and organize references to them by format. It reads files you choose to open and writes files when you save or export. PDFPivot does not upload the contents of scanned or opened files to a PDFPivot server.
You can remove storage access in Android settings. Doing so may prevent device-wide scanning and direct access to documents outside app-controlled storage.
When You Contact Us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, app name, topic, message, device details, and app version. We use this only to reply to your request and handle support, privacy, billing, bug, or policy questions.
Please do not send passwords, private documents, payment card details, or other sensitive information.
Diagnostics and Crash Reports
To help us find and fix problems, PDFPivot may send anonymous technical diagnostics and crash reports. This is on by default; you are asked about it on first launch and can turn it off at any time from the app menu. These reports contain technical information only and never include your document contents, file names, or personal information.
Advertising
The free version uses Google Mobile Ads. Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and related data to deliver, secure, and measure ads. Ad personalization and available privacy controls depend on your region, age settings, device settings, and Google's services.
PDFPivot Pro removes in-app advertising. PDFPivot does not provide document contents, file names, annotations, or extracted text to Google Mobile Ads. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Payments
PDFPivot Pro is a one-time digital purchase handled through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment and purchase information under Google's policies. PDFPivot receives purchase status and a purchase token so it can unlock or restore paid features; it does not receive your payment card details.
Account Sign-In and Free Trial
If you sign in with Apple or Google to start a free trial or restore access, our server keeps a small entitlement record so your access follows your account across devices and reinstalls. This record is keyed to the account identifier your sign-in provides and, to prevent trial abuse, a device-check signal (an Apple DeviceCheck token on iOS, or the Android device identifier). We keep your email address only to find and delete this record on request. We do not receive your password, and none of this is used for advertising.
Store reviewers may enter an access code that unlocks full access for review. The access code does not create an account or trial record.
Deleting Data
You can clear app storage or uninstall PDFPivot to remove app-local history, bookmarks, annotations, editing state, extracted fonts, and preferences. Documents and exports saved separately remain in device storage until you delete them with a file manager. If you signed in, you can delete your trial/entitlement record from within the app, or request deletion via Data deletion. For support-message deletion requests, see the same page.
Children
PDFPivot is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information through a support request, contact us so we can remove it.
